RAF MK.VIII Flying Spectacles, Cased

Stores Ref. 22c/962. Size large. Standard WW2 issue MK.VIII anti-glare spectacles/sunglasses with grey-green tinted lenses within steel wire frames having side-arms with 'wrap-around' ear pieces. The frames are generally in very good condition but there is a soldered repair where the nose-bridge joins the left side and minor lateral play in hinges. The lenses are in very good condition with just light scratches.   Air Ministry and ref. numbers stamped into sidearm. The original hard case is in very good condition with correct markings.  Stores ref. G18797.
