RAF MK.15T Flying Suit

RAF Coverall, Aircrew, MK.15T. By Ballyclare Special Products. Stores ref. 22c/SPECIAL. The label is washed out but dates from the 1990s. Size - 'Special Measure'. Typical olive green nomex flying suit with full front zip, zipped chest pockets, knee pockets/knee board provision, lower leg pockets, waist side seam entry pockets, zipped lower legs, pen pockets, velcro adjustable waist and ankle tabs etc. All zips are original and function correctly. The suit shows wear and 'pilling' of the collar, light soiling/fading a colour variation but in good used condition overall. Still fitted with the owner's name badge - Flight Engineer Chris Morley. He served with 47 Squadron amongst others - there is an original 47 Squadron patch on the right arm. All the suits he was issued with were made to 'Special Measure' which basically means they were made to measure for him. This suit is approx. 50" at the chest (pit to pit x 2) with a 44" waist when measured laid flat and zipped. The suit should be suitable for someone between about 5'9" & 6' tall.
