RAF C-type Flying Helmet, Early Pattern

Stores ref. 22c/451. Size 3. The leather is in very good overall condition - clean, supple and showing relatively light use/wear. Fitted with 4 goggle straps. These are in very good condition although the press studs lack some the original coating. Good chinstrap complete with metal end tip. The Bennett buckle has surface wear but is also good. The rubber receiver carriers are superb replacments.  Light to average even soiling to the lining - more on the donuts, one of which has a couple of small holes (see photographs).  Faint Air Ministry King's crown embossed marks near the chin tab.  Sold unwired.  Very good used overall.
