Captioned to rear ' He Commands Nazis In Balkans' - Keystone photo shows Field Marshall List, Commander-in - Chief of German Forces in the Balkans.  Hitler sent List to Rumania to plan this campaign some months ago.  This picture shows the Field Marshall discussing (says the German Caption) 'various details if military technique with Bulgarian staff officers'.  The 'various details' were probably the stabs at Greece and Jugoslavia.  Dated 9.4.41. Generally very good bar light soiling. Stock code P11578.
