SAAF Navigator's flying log book

Reference S.A.A.F. 74. Observer's and Air Gunner's Flying Log Book issued to W.J. Sherwood who appears to have joined the RAF at Harrogate in August 1943 before passing his Navigators course at 45 Air School, Oudtshoorn, South Africa during early 1945 (rated above average - air work constantly good). Entries between February 1945 and May 1945 show him flying as 1st or 2nd Navigator on Ansons in South Africa.  Stamps within the log show he passed his Air Sea Rescue ditching/dinghy drill and gun turret manipulation exercises.  No operational flights and minimal content (13p) hence the low price.  Stock code P218394.
