RAF Anti-G trousers & survival knife

Unknown Mk. and date.  Anti-gravity 'trousers' constructed of olive green nylon, nylon mesh and jersey fabric. Fitted with internal air bladders over the abdomen, thighs and calves that would automatically inflate whenever forces acting on the wearer exceeded a set level of 'G'.  This inflation applied pressure to the wearer thus preventing blood draining from the head to the legs causing loss of consciousness. The trousers are fitted with various zips, map pockets etc,  One of the main zips closes for about 3/4 of its length and then stops.  Further attempts to close will, I suspect, lead to separation of the teeth so attention is required.  Condition of the nylon material is good but the jersey sections are a little pilled.  Complete with inflation hose and connector.  Also fitted with a very good MK.III survival knife and scabbard by Joseph Rodgers of Sheffield, stores reference 22C/278106.  This is flat profile gravity knife with a composite handle containing a spring lock mechanism activated by two levers on either side of the hilt.  This mechanism locks onto a stud on the sheath, thus retaining the knife.  The blade is of stainless steel, curved and measures approximately 10cm.  The knife and metal scabbard /sheath is attached to a cloth patch, stitched upside-down on the leg. This enabled the knife to drop out on a lanyard should the wearer need to cut rigging lines of a parachute canopy in an emergency situation.  Stock code S21761.
