RAF MK.IIIA flying goggles

Stores reference. 22c/62. One of the classic 'Battle of Britain' pattern goggles. The frame is in very good condition with only light rubbing on exposed surfaces. All of the frame screws are original and both vent 'horns' are in place but one of the hinge 'stops' is absent. The velvet backing is clean and undamaged. Some restitching has been done to the leather nose-piece (could be made neater but not a major issue). The lenses have relatively light even scratches/scuffing and are in very good overall condition. The strap springs are all complete/undamaged and the leather strap section is excellent with clear A.M. marks and stamped with a 1937 date code. There is also an A.I.D mark and the owner's name inked to the back of the strap. A very good pair of goggles. Stock code G21065.
