RAF E-type flying helmet

Stores Ref. 22c/974. Size 2. (6^7/8 - 7).  The aertex cloth is in excellent condition showing light use and soiling only.  Both rubber earpieces are in good flexible condition and the interior of the helmet/inner chamois donuts is equally good. The chinstrap retains good colour but has lost elasticity.  All the goggle straps are very good and the press stud poppers have virtually all of the original brown coating.  Size and A.I.D. stamped internally.  Fully wired with a pink flecked mid tan coloured loom, matched receivers and jackplug.  A very good example.
