RAF C-type flying helmet, late pattern

Stores Ref. 22c/877, size 1 (6^1/2 - 6 ^7/8). The leather is in very good condition, completely supple and clean. Embossed with war department broad arrow and stores reference details.  All goggle straps are good and half retain most of the original coating on the press studs. The lining is undamged and reasonably clean.  The rubber receiver carriers are a bit stiff and display some cracking at the edges. The chinstrap is rather faded  and lacks elasticity. Fully wired with a light tan coloured loom, 10A/12443 receivers and an early brown cased bell jackplug.  A good '+' used example. Stock code H21179.
