Luftwaffe tropical fliegermutzen

Luftwaffe enlisted man's/NCO rank tropical issue fliegermutzen (flyer's/overseas cap). Originally introduced for use in North Africa but saw more widespread use in practice.  Constructed in lightweight tan cotton twill with a matched cotton lining.  Fitted with a machine embroidered second pattern luftwaffe eagle badge on a ribbed tan cotton twill backing. Beneath this is a machine embroidered national cockade. Both badges are handstitched to the cap. Undamaged but is quite dirty/stained externally.  The lining is somewhat cleaner and has a faded/washed out manufacturer's ink stamp.  A good honest original cap. Stock code U21329.
