RAF 1941 Patt. Mae West / Harnessuit stole

Early yellow silk covered rubberized cotton stole for the 1941 pattern Mae West and harnessuit. The material is excellent, very flexible and quite clean.  The only part that has hardened is the CO2 inflation bottle orifice (see photos).  The oral inflation tube is good and the valve opens and closes freely.   Not fitted with a circlip, inflation lever or CO2 bottle.  These are available to purchase separately. Air Ministry King's crown marked with 2/41 manufacture date. This would almost certainly still inflate but we advise against this as doing so introduces moisture and can promote internal rotting/perishing. A very good early war example. Stock code MW18579.
