RAF MK.VIII flying goggles

Stores Ref. 22c/930. The frames are generally very good with only light rubbing and minor paint loss on exposed edges. The leather surround has surface wear and some loss/flaking, notably to the nosepeice and left side as viewed. The suede backing show only light wear and is very clean.  Fitted with post WW2 clear lenses, both with edge delamination. The strap is grubby, faded and lacks elasticity.  Metal strap components display minor surface corrosion.  Faint markings and reference numbers to the central leather pad.  Although these goggles have clearly seen very little use they have suffered from poor storage.  Fair '+' / reasonable condition only.  Stock code G19199.
