By Dupage. Approximately 8 x 3cm. Brown bakelite container with a screw-off lid which houses a small compass that can be viewed from the top or via a 'window' in the side. The base is marked 'Dupage' and has a ribbed finish for use as a match striker. Would originally have had another striker strip in the side to produce sparks by rubbing with a knife or metal object. In very good used condition. Empty. Used in various AAF survival kits, the C-1 vest etc. Stock code M18449.
