RAF 1941 pattern flying gauntlets

Size 81/2 / 9. The leather is reasonably good and flexible.  The surface shows wear and abrasion with some small nicks and loss of chromed finish on the fingers and palms.  There appears to have been some restitching and possible glueing of the right little finger seam.  A reasonable colour match.  The left glove has an original brass zip with leather pull tab but the right zip is a replacement.  Some wear to the linings which are Air Ministry and A.I.D. marked.  One glove is marked as an 81/2, the other as a 9 but there is little obvious size difference.  Not perfect but a sound pair of gloves that could be improved with a light leather dressing.  Priced accordingly.  Stock code GA21753.
