RAF C-type flying helmet, late pattern

Stores reference 22c/880, size 4 (seems like a generous '4'). The leather is in very good overall condition, completely supple and clean.  There is minor wear and a small nick near the rear buckled strap, but no serious damage.  Embossed with war department broad arrow and stores reference details.  All goggle straps are good and retain most of the original coating on the press studs.  The lining has some soiling but is much cleaner than the average C-type.  Good rubber receiver carriers.  The chinstrap is faded and has little elasticity remaining.  Fully wired with a light tan coloured loom, matched type 32 (10A/13466) receivers and black cased bell jackplug.  A very good used example in the largest size issued.
