Folded card. Approximately 10 x 12cm (folded), 40 x 12cm (unfolded). Printed both sides with words and phrases in French, Dutch, German and Spanish alongside the English. Used to help escapers/evaders to communicate and get help from locals or pass themselves off as 'natives'. Marked 'Not To Be Produced In Public'. This example belonged to Sgt. Pilot C.W. 'Freddie' Hulance, a 227 Squadron Lancaster pilot who flew on the infamous raid on Dresden. Some soiling and creasing/wear but in good overall condition. Stock code P19206.
