USAAF Airgunner's safety belt, type A-3

'Belt, Gunners' Safety, Type A-3'.  By Companion Bags Inc.  Manufactured using parachute webbing this type of safety harness was used mainly by waist gunners to prevent them from falling from the aircraft during combat.  Date of manufacture marked as February 1943 but also with later inspection dates (Oct 1944, March 1947 & Sept. 1950).  Excellent condition.  Stock code M22367.
