RAF Radar Plotting Chart retitled as a Reims Fixing Chart.  London - Munchen.  Paper,  110 x 80cm.   Scale 1 : 1000,000.  Compiled and drawn at G.S.G.S. (A.M.) 1944, Photolithiographed by Ordnance Survey 1944.  Published by the War Office 1944.  January 1945 print date.  This large map showed the Gee Reims station chain in France during the last months of the war.  Aircrew used such charts to determine position using a GEE receiver.  The RAF established new chains following the D-day landings as the allies moved further into Europe.  GEE provided short range navigation and bombing guidance in the ETO during WW2.  The map is folded and creased with some small edge tears and a small section removed (see photographs).  Good overall condition and really rather scarce.  Stock code P22521.
