RAF MK.VIII flying spectacles, cased

By British American Optical (BAO), stores reference 22c/961.  Standard WW2 issue MK.VIII anti-glare spectacles/sunglasses.  Grey-green tinted lenses set within steel wire frames with side-arms featuring 'wrap-around' ear pieces.  The frames are generally in very good condition bar soiling and light verdigris deposits.  Clease note that close up photographs makes this appear worse than it really is!  The lenses are generally good but do have minor scuffs and the inner edge of the right lens (as worn) is chipped  - see photographs.  Air Ministry and reference numbers stamped into sidearm.  The original hard case is in sound condition but is squashed and the lid doesn't close in line with the base.  There are faded markings on the lid.  Good used overall.  Stock code G221823.
