RAF MK.VIII flying goggles, boxed

Stores reference 22c/930.  The frames are in excellent condition with little rubbing or paint loss.  The leather surround is also very good with clearly embossed reference marks and the suede backing is very clean.  The strap is a little faded and has lost most of the original elasticity.  Light surface corrosion of some metal strap components.  Fitted with clear lenses that display well but do have minor delamination marks  and an edge chip.  Complete with the original box of issue in good condition.  This also contains a good pair of spare tinted lenses and a later issue Antidim box with an excellent 1941 dated cloth.  Good '+' to very good overall condition.  Stock code G20227.
