RAF flying log books

Form 414.  Pilot's Flying log book.  Named to Flying Officer (later Flight Lieutenant) Harold Carr.  He joined up in 1941 and  served in the Far East as a medical officer (India command HQ, 60 Squadron, 117 Squadron etc).  The log begins March 1942 but there are only about 4 pages used with just a few entries each year  through to 1945.  The flights include basic flying training, aerobatics etc. on various aircraft incuding Oxfords, Dakotas and Harvards.  Also comes with Carr's  private pilot's licences for 1948, 1949 and 1967 and his personal flying log book issued by the Ministry of Civil Aviation.  This has entries from Janurary 1948 to July 1950 (Austers & Tiger Moths) at Wright Aviation Ltd. School of Flying, Hooton Park, Cheshire and later flights (1967 -  1968) on Cessnas & Piper C.140.  Finally there is a letter from the G.Q Parachute Co. Ltd. dated April 1949 regarding an enquiry about the purchase of surplus RAF parachutes and an old passport (1975).  Stock code P22873-10.
