RAAF photo album, 462 Squadron

Photograph album, approximately 17 x15cm.  Stiff card covers and pages.  Belonged to Flight Lieutenant C.K. Turner, a wireless operator/air gunner with 462 Squadron, Royal Australian Air Force (Halifaxes).  Contains 33 photographs, virtually all of which have direct RAF content.  They range in size from about 10 x 5cm to 13 x 10cm and include air to air shots of a Halifax (annotated '26 Ops, Halifax BB331'), aircrew in uniform and flying clothing, group photos, an American airman, WAAF etc.  Also comes with photocopies of 462 Squadron's Operations Record book detailing operational flights that Turner took part on c.1943.  These include shipping attacks in Palermo harbour, Sicily, attacks on enemy troops and aircraft landing grounds etc in Tunisia  A good little album.  Stock code P22873-71.
