RAF C-type flying helmet, late pattern

Stores reference 22c/879, size 3 (7^1/8- 7^3/8).  The leather is in excellent condition, very supple and clean.  Embossed with war department broad arrow and stores reference details.  All goggle straps are good and retain virtually all of the original coating on the press studs.  Excellent flexible rubber receiver carriers.  The lining is lovely and clean bar very minor use marks.  Marked with the original owner's name, size and A.I.D stamps.  There are a few small holes in the chamois but nothing that detracts.  The chinstrap retains good colour and elasticity.  Fully wired with a dark tan coloured loom, type 32  receivers and black cased bell jackplug.  A really good lightly used example.  Stock code H22989.
