RAF C-type flying helmet, late pattern

Stores reference 22c/879, size 3 (7^1/8- 7 ^3/8).  The leather is supple, clean and  in good overall condition.   There is some loss to the leather surface near the microphone attachment plug, light surface abrasion elswehere and the overall finish is a bit dull.  All goggle straps are good and retain most of the original coating on the press studs.  The lining has average soiling and there is one small hole towards the crown.  It has fading size details and is also marked with the original owner's name.  Both rubber receiver carriers are fully flexible.  The chinstrap is soiled and faded with little elasticity remaining.  Fully wired with a mid tan coloured loom, type 32 (10A/13466) receivers and black cased bell jackplug.  The loom has some fraying and wear.   A reasonably good used example.  Stock code H22646.
