WW2 period WAAF doll

Original wartime period Womens Auxiliary Air Force doll.  Approximately 41cm tall.  Soft bodied with porcelain head, hands and lower legs/feet.  Hand painted face and beautifully detailed uniform that appears to have been tailored using original WAAF uniform barathea cloth.  Even the blouse is made using genuine WAAF or RAF shirt cloth.  The uniform is comprised of a tunic, skirt, blouse, tie, stockings and peaked cap.  There are some holes in the stockings but the doll is otherwise in very good condition and makes a lovely display piece.  There are indistinct marks on the back of the head but we have been unable to establish the manufacturer.  Stock code M21887.
