By the Superior Magneto Corporation.   Green plastic cased compass approximately 55mm diameter.  Engraved to base 'Corps of Engineers U.S. Army Manufactured by Superior Magneto Corp.  L.I.City N.Y. U.S.A.'.    This would possibly have been oil filled originally.  Simple webbing strap absent otherwise in very good working condition.  Issued to the Army Air Force aircrew and US Airborne units.  Stock code M23945.
