RAF Mk.VIII flying goggles

Stores reference 22c/930. The frames are generally very good but have some verdigris deposits and paint loss exposing the brass beneath, notably on the exposed front faces. The leather surround is good but the suede backing is grubby and there is a seam split exposing the padding within. This should be a fairly simple repair.  Fitted with clear lenses, both with some delamination but they display quite well. The strap has replacement elastic but retains all other original fittings, the metal strap components displaying minor surface corrosion.   Reasonable ' +'/ quite good condition only.  Stock code G23469.
