RAF 1941 pattern Mae West floating torch, boxed

Stores reference 5A/2728. The correct 2-piece 'torch' for the 1941 pattern Mae West. The cylindrical metal battery container has some soiling but remains in excellent condition. With clear Air Ministry crown and reference marks. The wooden floating section is equally good and retains both bulb and clear domed cover. Unusually, the wiring is in good overall condition without cracking or loss of the rubber covering. It isn't totally flexible but not rigid either. With original issue box and stores label. Very good '+' condition. Stock code MW24141.
