A full account of the 'Fame's Favoured Few'.  The 92nd Bombardment Group (Heavy) was constituted on 28th January 1942 and activated on 1st March 1942.  It moved to England in the summer of 1942 and was assigned to the 8th AAF flying combat missions over Europe in B-17s.  with the 325th, 326th, 327th and 407th Bombardment Squadrons stationed at Bovingdon, Alconbury and Poddington.  This is the story of some of its crews and their missions.  It is illustrated with b&w photographs and is very readable.  Good condition and quite rare.  Stock code P24178.
