RAF fighter pilot type scarf - brown

Brown rayon scarf with hand embroidered RAF King's crown pilot wing to one end.  Tasselled ends.  Approximately 110 x 21cm.  Typical of those made by the wives and girlfriends of fighter pilot airman using commerically avaialble patterns and worn to help prevent neck chafing during combat manoeuvres.  Light marking and staining but in good / good '+' overall condition.  The colour variation/mottling looks worse in the photographs than it really is.  A press would improve the appearance further.  Stock code M19213.
