RAF / SOE razor blade compass

The Cheerio Razor Blade by the Wafer Razor Co. Ltd. of Sheffield. Individually wrapped war department broad arrow marked razor blade. This has been magnetized so that when suspended by a thread in a glass of water it would act as a compass for escape and evasion purposes. Various different brands were utilised by MI9 including 'Fleet', 'Dawn' and 'Cheerio'.

Some minor rust staining to the blade. Still retains a little magnestism and will 'disrupt' another compass if held close. We have three available, priced individually. Stock code E22543-46.
