Luftwaffe armbandkompass, 1st pattern

AK-39 wrist compass manufactured by Kadlec.  Luftwaffe reference FL23235.  Issued to all aircrews and worn at the wrist or often seen attached to the schwimmweste.  First pattern with black bakelite case and non-rotating bezel.  Black rotor/dial with luminous markings. Works but does have a small bubble in the alcohol fluid as is often the case.  With the original straps and alloy buckle in very good condition.  Nicely marked.  Considerably rarer than the 2nd pattern.  Very good '+' used condition.  Stock code S24280.
