Manufactured / retailed by John Payne, Jeweller & Watchmaker, 45 Market Street, Blackpool. Beautifully crafted and extremely high quality RAF pilot wing brooch in 15 carat (625) gold. Red enamel crown infill. 51.6mm span. Pin backed. '15CT' marked. Weight 4.5g. Excellent condition with original velvet and satin lined hard leather case. This must pre-date 1932 when 15 carat gold was discontinued in the UK. Priced at around the scrap value at the time of listing but clearly far too nice to do that! Superb. Stock code M24396.
