Developed by Christopher Clayton Hutton at MI9 this is one of the smallest of the escape and evasion compasses measuring just 7.4mm in diameter and 5mm tall. The case is solid brass and is fitted with a small central 'pin' onto which the rotor ins placed. This is in the form of a simple black painted metal disc marked with a single luminous dot to indicate North. Being so tiny this compass could be hidden inside such things as pencils, pens, pipes, cigarettes, field sercvice cap buttons etc. Now one of the rarest compasses to find. In very good condition but lacks the covering glass. Stock code E24309.
