USAAF Sky Lookout flying goggles, boxed

By American Optical Co.  The USAAF used Sky 'Lookout' goggle was issued to aircrews on daylight bombing raids.  They helped them spot enemy fighters attacking with the sun behind them.  Black painted ventilated metal frames with an adjustable nose-piece.  Individual grey sponge rubber face cushions and simple elasticated strap.  Fitted with extremely dark green lenses.  Superb unissued condition with very minor storage marks only.  Complete with the original box of issue - some damage to one corner of the lid.  Stock code G22920.
