USAAF 488th BG insignia - reproduction

Leather covered plywood board with handpainted leather squadron patches relating to the 448th Bombardment Group, 2nd Air Division, 8th Army Air Force.  These include the 8th AAF patch and those for the 712th, 713th, 714th & 715th Bombardment Squadrons that flew B-24 Liberators out of Seething (AAF Station 146) in  Norfolk.  This is one of two display boards produced, the other was donated for display in the control tower museum at the base. This one shows some wear and marking but is in good overall condition and displays well.  Stock code M242115A-128.
