USAAF B-17 model

Large very well made scratchbuilt solid wooden scale model of the USAAF Boeing B-17 'Flying Fortress' bomber.  Approximately 59.5cm wingspan x 44cm length.  Fitted with 'pins' for the various guns and aerial.  Possibly originally fitted with propellers or spinners.  Painted and fitted with decals for the famed 8th AAF 'Memphis Belle'. Currently mounted on a wooden stand but this would not appear to be original to the model.  Some paint loss/chips and cracks in paintwork where the wings etc are fitted to fuselage.  An impressive display piece.  Srock code M24215A-131.
