Produced by The Countryman Ltd. & printed by John Waddington Limited, Leeds.  Approximately 45 x 57cm.  Designed and drawn by Ernest Clegg. Printed in full colour on thick paper.  An illustrated map of the county of Cambridgeshire that shows areas used for wartime production in terms of farming, military establishments, D-Day rehearsals etc.  Pictures of famous county landmarks decorate the borders along with facts appertaining the county and its war effort.  Also illustrated with badges/coats of arms of the Armed Forces & Civil Defence.  This was produced as a retrospective item and fund raiser in 1947.  A lovely item that we were lucky to acquire along with some others about 20 years ago.  Ideal for framing.  Light soiling and edge creasing but in very good overall condition.  It will be posted rolled in a mailing tube.
