Rare vintage King's crown Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve car badge. By prestigious maker J.R. Gaunt & Sons, London. Enamelled chromed steel with painted fixing bracket. Approximately 7.5 x 14cm plus bracket (20cm total). Light wear to the blue enamel on the main badge and smaller rectangular RAF colours beneath. Engraved to rear with manufacturer's details and serial number. The sort of thing seen on the badge bar of wartime fighter pilots' sports cars and ideal for your vintage MG TA or Jaguar SS.
