USAAF MC-233 microphone and loom

RAF stores reference 110A/12570, USAAF reference MC-233.  Whilst this looks near identical to the British RAF type 25 microphone it was actually made by the AAF specifically for use with RAF E series and G-type oxygen masks so commonly used by the 8th & 9th AAF.  It is wired to a dark chocolate coloured C0-287 wiring loom fitted with a PL-179, the American verision of the standard RAF bellplug and a female JK-26 socket.  This set up allowed use with the radios specific to AAF fighter aircraft.  This scarce and desirable wiring even has the correct original 110A/12574 rubber sealing ring!  All in excellent used condition.  Stock code HCW-233.
