AK-39 wrist compass. Luftwaffe reference FL23235-1. Issued to all aircrews and worn at the wrist or often seen attached to the schwimmweste. Second pattern with a clear base and transparent dial. It has rotating circular discs on the base that could be used to set a course but they do not rotate as freely as they should on this one. As usual, there is a bubble in the alcohol fluid inside the case but the compass rotor works very well. With the original straps in good condition. Light surface corrosion on the buckle. Nicely marked. Good/good '+' used condition. Stock code S24846.
