USAAF B-3 flying jacket

Unlabelled but measures approximately 23" from armpit to armpit externally (46" total).  Classic AAF jacket manufactured in dark seal brown shearling leather with horsehide sleeve panels and pocket.  The majority of the leather is in very good condition retaining good flexibility, finish and little of the usual crazing and surface peel associated with American shearling jackets.  Closer inspection reveals replacement cuff sections, a repair under the right arm and a small patch near the waist of the lower rear panel.  As usual, there is some crazing and drier leather at the rear of the collar.  The zip is a functional YKK replacement. The jacket retains the front patch pocket, good supple straps/buckles at the waist.  Both collar straps are good but the upper one may have been replaced.  Label absent.  The fur lining is generally very good.   A good-looking jacket that displays very well.  Stock code J25074.
