B&w photograph, approximately 21.5 x 16cm.  Air to air image of a Fleet Air Arm Hawker Nimrod biplane.  Introduced to replace the Fairey Flycatcher, Sydney Camm designed the Nimrod and it was very similar to his Hawker Fury, a single-seater biplane with an open cockpit, fixed undercarriage, and guns firing through the propeller. It first entered service in 1932 but was replaced by the Gloster Gladiator before the outbreak of war.  The photograph is a little dog-eared and yellowed.  Good detail.  Stock code P22873-200.
