RCAF Mk.III flying goggles

Stores reference 22/13. One of the classic 'Battle of Britain' pattern goggles. The frame is good but has some rubbing and paint loss on exposed points. All of the frame screws are original and both frame 'stops' are in place. The leather surrounds are reasonably good but some of the internal padding has hardened. Fitted with replacement lenses in excellent condition. The original lenses will also be supplied but they have yellowed, warped a bit and have surface marks. All of the strap springs are excellent. The leather strap section has some wear and the buckle is lightly corroded. The strap is embossed with Royal Canadian Air Force reference markings and 1940 date. A good pair of goggles.
