RCAF / RAF Greatcoat, 1942

SOLD

Code: U25403

Made to measure by T. Eaton of Canada, named to Pilot Officer M. Hardy and 1941 dated.  Officer rank greatcoat, double-breasted, with five rows of King's crown RCAF buttons, three small RCAF cuff buttons and fabric belt with brass buckle.  Also fitted with shoulder boards bearing pilot officer rank lace and 'Canada' shoulder titles.  Rare large size, I'm 6'2" and it's long on me.  The melton cloth is generally quite clean, has only light moth trailing and very minor holes.  There is an elongated hole on the edge of the belt (see photograph), otherwise good '+'.  Some wear and minor damage to the lining.  Labelled and dated.  Rather heavy hence the postal costs.  Stock code U25403.

Approximate external measurements: pit to pit 44", waist 40", pit to cuff 20", shoulder to cuff 28", collar to waist 53".
