RAF E-type flying helmet

Stores Reference 22c/973-976.  Size unmarked but is relatively small so perhaps a generous '1' or '2'.  A standard late pattern internally wired version of this helmet.  The aertex cloth is in very good condition bar a small hole on the right side as shown in the photographs.  Both rubber earpieces are in excellent flexible condition and the interior of the helmet/inner chamois donuts are very good.  The chinstrap is a bit soiled/faded but does retain good elasticity.  All the goggle straps are good, the press stud poppers have varying amounts of their original brown coating.  Sold unwired as seen.  Wiring and receivers can be supplied separately at extra cost if required.  A very good used example.  Stock code H24077.
