Luftwaffe AK-39 armbandkompasse

AK-39 wrist compass.  Luftwaffe reference FL23235-1.  Issued to all aircrews and usually worn at the wrist over the flight suit but often seen attached to the schwimmweste.  This is a second pattern example with a clear base and transparent dial.  It has rotating circular discs on the base that could be used to set a course.  The upper bezel is a bit cloudy and there appears to be no alcohol fluid inside the case but the compass rotor still functions.  Straps absent.  Nicely marked.  Fair '+' used condition.  Stock code S25384.
