Luftwaffe AK-39 armbandkompasse, 1st pattern

AK-39 wrist compass.  Luftwaffe reference FL23235.  Issued to all aircrews and usually worn at the wrist over the flying suit but often seen attached to the schwimmweste.  This first pattern example has a black bakelite case and non-rotating bezel.  Black rotor/dial with luminous markings.  Works but does have a small bubble in the alcohol fluid as is often the case.  With the original straps and alloy buckle in good condition.  Nicely marked.  Considerably rarer than the 2nd pattern.  Very good used condition.  Stock code S25130.
