USAAF AN6530 flying goggles

By American Optical.  The frames are very good with only light soiling and minor wear to the plating.  These have short tubular vents rather than the streamlined type.  Stamped 'A-N6530' on the centre hinge.  Fitted with clear plastic lenses in good condition - we can supply/fit mint new old stock American Optical glass lenses at extra cost if required (clear, green or orange).  The one-piece rubber face cushion is quite sound but is generally hard and has perished at the extreme edges.  It also has surface cracks, some of which appear to have been filled or glued (see photographs).  The backing chamois has average soiling and the strap is faded with no elasticity remaining.  All metal strap components are good.   Not without issues but these goggles still display well.  Stock code G25213.
