AAF Part No. 35A5510. Manufactured by Park Sherman Co., Springfield. Chrome plated white metal match case. Cylindrical, approximately 6.5cm long x 2cm diameter. The lid unscrews but remains attached to the body to avoid loss. A striking surface is machine turned into the lower half of the case. Hanging loop to the lid. Manufacturer's marks on the base. Shows use and wear but in excellent overall condtion. Empty. This was a componant part of emergency kits for matches, or for one 1/4 ounce bottle of iodine or quinine. Stock code S14662.
